Historically primary producers have borne the effects of environmental degradation with little capacity to implement remedial action. We are not sitting at the table where our environment is discussed. There is an accelerating demand for material to sustain the green energy transition and with it a need to devise methods of extraction, processing and utilisation that is sustainable and does not damage the environment.
Zambia is a primary source of materials and our engineers, scientists, business executives and educationalists should be at the forefront of designing and implementing the systems that secure a sustainable future. This will ensure that we sit at the table making the decisions for our environment with good independently sourced information.

The conference and associated seminars and breakout sessions aim to:
